Is there a transfer/set up fee when I sell my unit? Yes, there is a $350 Set Up Fee.

Is there a reinvestment fee when I sell my unit? Yes, it is 0.5% of the purchase price.

Is The Communities At Deer Crest Owners Association a Mandatory HOA? Yes, it is. Please review Article 2.1 and 5.6 of the CC&Rs (Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions)

What is a mandatory HOA? mandatory Homeowners Association (HOA) is just what it sounds like: if you want to live in a community, you have to join the HOA. When you buy a property within the neighborhood, you automatically become a member of the association. You don’t have the choice of not joining. The purchase of your home becomes a contract with the HOA. These mandatory HOAs require homeowners to follow all the rules set forth in the association’s governing documents. So, if you’re part of a mandatory HOA, you’ll need to pay fees and adhere to the bylaws that help maintain the community’s standards and amenities.

What is included in this year’s dues? Liability Insurance for the HOA common areas (Lanes and Courts), Snow Clearing and Salting, Maintenance on Lanes and Courts (Crack Repair, Asphalt repair, Asphalt Sealing).

Are there rental restrictions? Any lease or rental agreement shall have a term of at least thirty (30) consecutive days.
